Firstly ,there are many kinds of coffee in the world, we already know the taste from it. But ,our coffee is different than others,why ?because, our coffee comes from natural producer and it's made in desert !Everyone knows about it that the food or drink which you made it,it's more delicious that others ,so in our coffee bar ,we have lots of service about it. you can have a cup of coffee and some order some sugar and milk ,then you can help yourself to make what you want, also you can order same snakes for free.

Maybe you might to ask that who can have our service. It's about the people who below 45 years old and above 5 years old ,why? Because we thought about that people who above 45 years old, they aren't good to have too much coffee, also we can service to the yang people,cause they are yang, so why not?

Our coffee bar is more different than others, have you ever thought about the coffee without caffeine? Maybe not, it's very healthy and no harmful. Also ,we believe, we don't need to beat any competition, cause in our company, we said:'there is no best, only better!'

Boni's team Campervan Trip to the UK

In the last week the project was to discuss in the meeting how to organise a trip to the UK in a campervan. We had to include lots of outdoor activities and sports.

Our route starts from Bristol towards the north through Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and England.

Abeer – Cardiff

In Cardiff, we managed to participate in lots of different unique activities like sand-boarding, rowing and treasure hunting. Also we thought of playing valley ball in Cardiff bay.

Bob - Liverpool

I suggested that we should spend two or three days in Liverpool.

Liverpool is famous for music which called The Beatles, so we can go to the music zone to enjoy that. Also we can go to watch the football match, maybe we can join them.

Another time we can buy some interesting gifts for our teachers.

Abeer – Belfast

Moving on to Belfast, as it is part of the UK but in a different country! We thought of visiting museums and historical places so that we not only enjoy some outdoor activities, but also we could widen our knowledge about the UK.

Boni – Glasgow and Edinburgh

We are going to visit two cities in Scotland, Glasgow and Edinburgh, for a week.

In Glasgow, Scotland, we have exciting outdoor activities. There are many tall mountains in Scotland and especially in Glasgow, we can enjoy skiing in the mountains. We don't need to worry about the weather because it is able for everyone for every day! We can also experience Scotland's country sports such as hunting, and shooting.

Then, we go to Edinburgh. It is the capital of Scotland and has a wonderful cycling route through the city. When we go to Scotland, we should play golf. In Edinburgh, there is a nice golfing centre which can provide us a beautiful golfing trip around Scotland's golfing course. Also, there is a national park near the city and it has a great camp site. We can spend nights under the star in our campervan.

Justin – Newcastle

I had to talk about what we could do in one day in Newcastle

On the way to Newcastle we can see the Angel of the North.

In Newcastle, there is a river Tyne and walk along the river. We can go to the Metrocentre which is Britain's best and Europe's largest shopping mall and leisure centres. We can buy some special gifts for our family and friends. We will rest there.

Nawaf – Manchester

Next we go for two or three days to Manchester. A big city in north-west England. We can take a bus Manchester Open Top Bus Tour and see Central Library, Beetham Tower, Albert Square, Piccadilly Gardens, Wheel of Manchester, Express Building and more.

We can see The Haçienda famous music club with groups including The Stone Roses, the Happy Mondays.

We can see Manchester United club Old Trafford the largest club football ground in the UK, with a capacity of 76,000 and watch football game.

There are free places to visit. The John Ryland's Library, or the Whitworth Art Gallery, or we can have a picnic in Heaton Park.

 

Bejad -London

London the big city in England also it is the capital of England . When we want go to London we must visit museums like museum Madame Tussauds. And do not forget a big mall in London through Oxford street and Piccadilly street .there are many beautiful park that . We can play football. There are many great stadiums in London should we visit such as Chelsea and Arsenal. I think 1 week enough for London.

Ma - Plymouth

Finally, we decided to go to Plymouth for five days. We are going to do sunbathing, swimming and beach valley ball but the others who don't want to play outdoor activities. So they can stay in the camper-van or tent that they are doing board games or card games for example monopoly, poker and chess. Also, we can see the good sightseeing but weather is bad then everybody stay there.

We have done very well. Each member had his or her responsibility to research before the meeting. I think everybody contributed to the meeting and made a great trip plan!

Who are the courses for?

The courses are designed to prepare international students and academic visitors for study at the University of Oxford. Students going on to another institution of higher education where English is the medium of instruction may also be accepted if places are available.

Purpose and content of the course

Students coming to study at the University of Oxford or elsewhere will be much better equipped to meet the demands of their academic life and do well in their studies if they attend a pre-sessional course. They will also be able to integrate into the social life of a university more easily.

During the courses, students will develop their skills in

- understanding lectures

- reading academic texts effectively

- taking notes from lectures and written texts

- writing academic essays

- participating in seminars and discussions

- giving presentations

- interacting in social situations

The courses will also include general study skills and cultural orientation.

The organisation of the courses

- 20 hours of tuition each week

- Students are taught in small groups of around 12 people

- Classes take place in the Language Centre

- Students have access to all of the facilities of the Language Centre, including the library, audio- and video-rooms and multi-media computers

- There is a programme of visits to places of interest

Admission requirements

Students with a conditional or unconditional offer from Oxford University are given priority. Prospective students should note that the minimum English language requirement for postgraduate students at Oxford University is IELTS 7.0/TOEFL 600 or ibTOEFL 100. For complete details, click here.

Students who have IELTS 6.5/TOEFL 575/ibT 88 or below are recommended to attend the eight-week course (Course A). Students without a score need to show their level of competence in English in order to be accepted on the course.

Accommodation

Students who are coming to study at Oxford may be housed by their own colleges, which they should contact as soon as possible to make appropriate arrangements. Khalif's tower

If you go to the United Arab Emirates you must visit the Khalif's tower. It is one of the most important tourist attractions in the country, it is a wonderful building and it is the tallest tower in the world.


The height of the tower is about 830m, and it is in the centre of Dubai. The first parts were built on 21 of September in 2004, and it was finished in first of October in 2009. Shaikh Mohamed Bin Rashed AL-Maktoom was opened the tower in fourth of January in 2010, and they spent about US$21.5 billions to build this tower and developed Downtown. The Khalif's tower has 160 floors.

Nowadays, the United Arab Emirates has rain and it also has lightning, so the tower is very safe because it lightning-proof. Also it has a beautiful fountain in the sea, and you can also see all Dubai from the top of the tower. In addition, visitors can buy a ticket to go around the tower for an hours;100AED for adults, 75AED for children and free for infants. The best time to visit is in the winter, so that you can enjoy mild weather and fantastic views.

Justin's love story

It's really worth reading!!!!


Long, long ago, in Bristol, there was a beautiful girl called Alice. When she was 18 years old, she had already become lots of men's dream lover, but nobody was her style. Until she was 28.


One day, when she was chatting on-line with her friend, suddenly a person requested to became her friend, and wrote in a sentence "To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world." Then she consented to his request. The man's name is Danny. They chatted on-line for one year, they thought they were each other's soul mate. They made a decision to meet in three days.


Next day, her father told her that a rich person called Tom wanted to marry her, though she did not like him, but she had to meet Tom, because his father was very powerful. Alice told Tom she had a boyfriend, but Tom did not believe her. He said "You can put forward any requests, I can do it." She said "OK, tomorrow let's meet in the supermarket at 5 am."


Next day, they met in the supermarket. Alice told them to travel around the world, and whoever came back first, she will marry. Tom went first, but Danny did not move. When Tom left the supermarket. Danny walked around Alice in a circle, and said "I finished my trip. I have already told you, you are my world."


Finally, Alice got married to Danny. They lived happily ever after.

Short Story

The family who were living here had two children, a boy and a girl. The couple explained to them that they wanted to travelled to a foreign country, but they hadn't checked their car. The farmer told "You can stay here until your car is repaired". He called the mechanic to see what the problem was. After that they sat with the family, but they had a problem with the language as they know only a few words. So they talked with them by signs.

When they were eating together the mechanic came and knocked on the door. They lifted the dinner and they went to the car with the mechanic to see the car and prepare it. the mechanic told them they hadn't changed the oil for along time. mechanic said"I can't finish it today, because i don't have any oil now and now it is evening all the shops are closed". Then the farmer told them "You can sleep in our house", but the couple told him, "We can't sleep with you because you have a small house, we can sleep in our car". The farmer said "I have one room free you can sleep here today, because the weather is absolutely freezing". After that they slept with the farmer and next day morning they went to toke their car from the mechanic shop.

The mechanic told him "You should hare checked the car before you travelled" .They said "I'm certain that is the last time we will have this problem, we will check it every single month. At the end they took their car and they completed their trip.

"Russian Versailles"

If you are going to Russia, don't forget to visit Saint-Petersburg with its wonderful palaces, parks and gardens, Peterhof is one of those places. Peterhof is also known as Petrodvorets and it's the most famous and popular tourist attraction in the country, often called the "Russian Versailles", Many visitors conclude that the comparison does a disservice to the grandeur and scope of this majestic estate.

The parks of Peterhof, created in the 19th century, represents a brilliant example of an interesting stage in development of Russian architecture and landscape art. The ensemble erected in the early 18th century on the bank of the Gulf of Finland is an original monument in the honour of the victory in the North War and coming of Russia to the Baltic Sea. The idea of creating of the ensemble, the basic planning design, the projects of art decoration belonged to Peter the Great.

This magnificent European palace-and-park complex comprising the Grand Palace is not particularly large, but it has an imposing façade and some stunning state rooms inside, One of these Palaces is Marly Palace a French-style building, inspired by the French royal hunting lodge at Marly le Roi, Peterhof Hermitage in the English style, Other examples are Monplaisir palace, Cottage Palace and Alexandria Park. Peterhof Park and Gardens was laid out over several generations, and covers a huge range of garden styles. The fountains of Peterhof are most famous for their remarkable array of decorative fountains, including the unmistakable and incredibly impressive ensemble of the Grand Cascade.

This complex was reconstructed after the Second World War. In 2003 Saint Peterburg celebrated its 300th anniversary. As a result, much of the building and statuary in Peterhof has been restored and new giftwork abounds. Nowadays the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve is subordinated to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

The best time for visiting Petrodvorets is from May till the end of October, when the gardens are green and beautiful. All the fountains are open. So you can enjoy one of the greatest achievements of Russian national culture, a brilliant example of organic synthesis of architecture and sculpture, park and engineering art.

The terrible story about one young couple

A young couple decided to visit their friends, they lived 300 km from the city. The young couple had driven half of the way, but then their car broke down.

Although the weather was freezing, the car's engine was boiling. They were astonished because the car was new. They had bought this tiny car three months ago.

Our young couple were furious, starving and miserable. They tried to find help, had been looking around and saw a massive farmhouse. The man was absolutely confident that there was somebody at home.


When they came to the farmhouse and knocked on the door, they met a very old women. She let them stay that night. Our couple were exhausted, but very grateful for her kind help.

My little story !!

Four years ago, in July 2008, during a summer party, the night was really clear and the moonlight magnificient. I was driving to the party with my friends and we had begun to drink so the atmosphere was really crazy.

When we arrived at the party, the girls were absolutely gorgeous so we danced with them. I was dancing like a demon on the dancefloor when I smelt and saw a firework in the street.

Outdoors, I realised that my car had burnt and I became furious. I was looking for the criminal when I saw Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill's ghost.

It was he who had set fire to my car with his pipe earlier in the night. Miserable, I went to call my parents in a farmhouse as my car had broken down but fortunately when I was walking in the street, I saw my car intact and I understood that my visions had been the result of alcohol.

My terrifiing story

When their car broke down, they decided to go and ask for help at the farmhouse.

It was raining heavily. The rusty car stopped in front of the farmhouse. The sun was setting and it was freezing.

In the car, there was a whole family with four children. And the car refused to start.

The father was absolutely furious. Before the departure, he had told his wife to check the car. She hadn't had enough time to do it.

The first thing they saw in front of the farmhouse was an absolutely enormous animal.It wasn't clean, it was  absolutely filthy. Perhaps, it was a pig.

They were amazed, because there was nobody else, and they were not able to speak the language of this country.

Afterwards, they were able to see a shape moving in their direction. It was a quite chubby farmer woman.

They realised that the first shape they had seen, hadn't been a pig but a woman. They were astonished. She said she had seen them and she wanted to give them a hand.

So they were saved … or were they...?

Computers: are they useful, or do they lead to declining intelligence?

The first computer was developed 1941 from Konrad Zuse, from this moment this machine is our best friend and employee. We use it now everywhere in our businesses, hospital, at home, an our phones, anywhere. But the pc makes our life not only easy but difficult also. Experts say that we use those to much and forgot to think with our own brain some times. Teachers success parents to does not let their children play all time with the PC's.

Yes I agree with the opinion that the computers are a big help and do a lot of our work and so I will show you the benefits of them. Computers has change our life we need only a few minutes to find every information we want. To listen to music, playing games, booking our tickets for the journey, but we use they not only to have fun but to work also. The police can solve crimes quickly and better, every businesses man use it for his company, the factory to work and the doctors to help us better and for a lot of operation.

But we must also talk about the disadvantages of computers, there is the threat of intelligence because we use the PC not only to find difficult things but realy easy too and so the brain gets lazy.

Also children play a lot of games with guns and faiths so some of them gets criminally or can not concentrade in the shool. The people do not talk with each other the are all time chatting with those phones or computers in social rooms and so the communication get lost. A lot of people lost his jobs because a machine does their work or the employee can not use the machine so their employer fire them.

But nobudy want to be without computers in the furure, everyone or the most of us have a PC at home an in a few years it will not chance. Perhaps in the next years all will be controled by the machine if it is at the work or our free time. In the U.S.A. alredy yet there is in the super markets machine where every customer hat his own ID and the machine knows what he buy and save the informations, or the customer can choose what he want to buy and the machine shows him where it is in the shop. That is only a very small example of that will be in the future.

No one can say if it is really useful or not because some times is the technology good and other times not, but we can not live without now. All the system will be disturb if we do not use any more. I think it is important to use the computers but our brain too.

Who is Banksy???

   

    Banksy is a very famous "Graffiti artist" in the street art community. Banksy was born in Bristol (world capital of graffiti) and operates in this region. Nowadays, nobody can see his face as he always hides it but it is not a problem because this particularity increases the mystery around his character. In England, doing graffiti is forbidden by law but Banksy create his art work during the night. He always does graffiti in relation with  modern society and he criticizes or denounces an  inegality. To see his pieces and form your opinion about him you can just walk around Bristol and see his work all over the city. 

HAJJ

The current exhibition at the British Museum shows the different steps for Hajj, including different pictures, beautiful old maps, the holy Quaran and the ritual of the Hajj. It explains what Muslims do in each step and what power they feel when they are doing Hajj. Further more, the reason why people feel that those steps are the right things to do is mentioned. The journalist thinks that this is a very important subject to write because of the great number of Muslims in the world and how that great number of people are equal and have the faith and are all gathered in one place. Seoul is the capital city of South Korea. In Seoul is megacity with a population of about 10 million, it is the largest city.

In Seoul you can find the 63building, Namsan Tower and Blue House (Cheon Wa Dae). Namsan Tower is the highest building in my country and Blue House is where the president lives.

Famous Landmarks :

Seoul also has many famous buildings that you can visit. Namdaemun markets, Cheonggyecheon, Namsan Park.

Namdaemun markets is you can buy some food, shoes, clothes and good sightseeing. Cheonggyecheon is a 5.8 km river and Namsan Park is you can see

the many events and nice sightseeing it has a cable car.

Seoul has many large shopping malls. The Myeongding is a shopping and entertainment area, Namdaemun is the oldest market in Seoul, everything is good quality and there is a lot of delicious food.

News from London !!!!

Hi Alfred !!!!

How are you ? ^^ I'm writing this letter from London. I have had a wonderful day on this holiday. It was on Tuesday, first of all, i woke up at 11:00 a.m, I had lunch at 12:30 and in the afternoon I went sightseeing. I have visited Tower Bridge, the Houses of Parliament (I saw David Cameron :) ). After that, I went shopping on Oxford Street and in the evening I went to a nightclub where maybe I met the future Miss JAUDON. Brief, I'm going to come back tomorrow and I tell you finished.

Brussels is the capital city of Belgium and Europe. It's also the seat of several institutions of the “European Union”.

In Brussels you can find a large beautiful square, called La Grand Place de Bruxelles, the Atomium which is a building made of nine spheres and the Saint Michel Cathedral, and finally, the Royal Palace.

The country's king is Albert II and there is also Elio Di Rupo, our first minister. (Finally I have a government now:) )

It has a population of about 145,900 people. The population speaks two languages: French or Flemish. There is very good social security for everybody living in Belgium.

 

Entertainment, shopping and dining:

Brussels has two principal streets for shopping and you can see that there are also many small galleries with typical shops (chocolate-shops, jewellery etc.)

This city is an important cultural centre with its Opera, thirty theatres and cinemas.

The weather:

It is a temperate climate, the temperatures often are the same as in England. In the winter it can be very cold, rainy, although the sun shines. Sometimes there is also some snow. In the summer you can expect sun-shine and a temperature of about 30 degrees C.

Transport:

For the transport there are the Thalys connecting Brussels to Paris or the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse = high-speed train). The Eurostar connects Brussels to London.

In Belgium lots of people use trains. In Brussels you can find three big stations and many others smaller. If you want to go to many different places in the city you can take buses, the metro or tram.

If you are in a hurry there are lots of taxis but they are more expensive.

Little presentation about the traditional culture in Emirates.

I'm going to talk about the traditional culture around the meal times in Emirates.

Firstly, in Emirates, when you arrive, the men say hello by shaking hands and touching noses in same times, the men leave their shoes outdoor and wear a very beautiful white clothes and scarf as it is polite. In the meal times, the men and women are separate because in the religion it's polite. To eat, the men seat down and take the food with the hands. To seat there is an order, you can seat down just after the person before you because it is polite. You should take all the food, glass and other things with only your right hand because with the left hand it's rude. After the meal times, the tradition wants you to drink a coffee and if a other person arrive and the carpet is full you give your seat as it's polite.

6 nations tournament suite !!!

Hi, today I'm going to talk about the second day of the 6 nations tournament.

On Saturday, we saw a very bad day for the professional rugby. In fact, England beat Italy 19-15 ( between me and you I think it's very narrow victory for a team who claim they are going to be champions this year) but the best news is that the games France-Ireland was cancelled due to a frozen pitch. In my opinion, with this story, the reputation of rugby players is in danger.

Fortunately for us, on Sunday, the game Wales-Scotland have kept its promise.

We saw, in my opinion, the best game of the year. The had a very strong defence but unfortunately Scotland's lack of realism and failure to score two tries. The Wales team of veterans didn't have this problem and Wales scored three tries. Not everyone will agree with me, this year I think the champion will be Wales.

It's all for this week but we wait with impatience for next weekend.
