voted for by teachers, staff and students!! 

***The student of the week is punctual, always completes homework assignments, speaks English around the school and is friendly and helpful to new students.***

FRIDAY 15th March 2013

 We say a fond farewell to Carmello, who was here for a month studying English for Nursing Staff. He put in a great deal of work on his self-study, and will missed missed around the school. (Fortunately he's coming back next week to continue studying during Masterclass!!)

Our inaugural award for the Student of the Week, voted for by teachers, staff and students, was won by Ibrahem!!! I know, we couldn't believe it either!!!

FRIDAY 8th March 2013

Pedro - only a one-weeker, but we loved having him in the school. He led his project team to victory in the debate about a new airport to serve London and the South East.

Saying goodbye to our four ENAC (École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile) students - also here for one week only. Stephane provided expertise and passion during the debate [yes! my team won!]

Finally, here we said goodbye to a lovely group of eight Prepa (classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles) students, who were also only here for a week, but managed to fit in two tours of Bristol (including our famous graffiti artist, Banksy), a great talk about the Bristol Pound, as well as visits to the Create centre, Bristol University and BBC Bristol (famous for David Attenborough's natural history programmes).

How they managed to fit in all their homework and all the shopping they did, I have no idea!
