PLEASE REMEMBER
You will not be able to touch the stones, or even go close to the stones at Stonehenge. This is only allowed during the shortest night of the year, in June.
If you want to go close to a stone circle, I suggest you visit the Avebury Ring, also in Wiltshire.

HIRE A CAR
Stonehenge is about 75km (46 miles) from Bristol.
I suggest you go to Europcar, or their website, and hire a car for the journey.

HIRE A MINIBUS
We suggest SouthWest MiniBuses
You need to tell them a pick up time and place in Bristol, and where you want to go.
Tell them how many people, and when you want to go back to Bristol.
TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Buy a return train ticket to Salisbury and then get the Stonehenge Tour Bus.Before you go, make sure you see Salisbury Cathedral, it is very beautiful.
